George has a Master's degree in Computer Science, and is a world record holding hang glider pilot. He lives in California with his wife, Dr. J Shelley, and their two children, Jillian and Jefferson.

Other interests include Science (especially Cosmology, Physics and Evolutionary Biology), reading (especially Science Fiction), camping and hiking. And anything that flies, of course.
